and I have Windows 10 pro
I would try uninstalling and reinstalling.
what do you mean uninstalling and reinstalling? I have been uninstalled it and then installed again - but same problem.
OK, let's try some other diagnostic tests.
Remove any non-Adobe plugins, including font managers. Does InDesign work? If yes, one of the plugins is causing the problem.
If not, create a new Windows user account and log in with that? Does InDesign work? If yes, delete or rename the InDesign folders in the old user account under appdata\roaming\adobe\ and appdata\local\adobe\ and copy the folders from the new user into those locations.
If not, run MSConfig and turn off all non-essential startup programs and services (including anti-virus and malware scanners and third party firewalls). Does InDesign Work? If yes, one of the programs you disabled is causing the problem.
If not, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 ) which will remove all traces of all Adobe programs from the version you select, then reinstall the CC application, followed by the other programs.
ok. I will try it
