I'm working with pictures from a freelance photographer - and I cant find a working solution to this. The picture, when imported as raw into Photoshop or Lightroom automatically gets cropped and no reset will undo it. There is no record of the crop and I haven't applied any settings during import.
However, when I place it as a smart object in Photoshop the entire photo gets placed. I can temporarily work with this, but what's the real issue here and the fix for it? Could use the help!
When you import the image in Lightroom, do you see any editing on the image in the Lightroom module.
Also, reset the Photoshop preferences back to default and check if that helps.
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Let us know the outcome.
