so when i rodoscope a figure, despite the fact that the rodoscoped rectangular frame itself isnt moving, the figure is still moving within that frame....so if that figure is a head or an arm or a leg, and i want to precisely place it on another person....how would i get it to stick? if i were to motion track and parent this rodoscoped object onto something, yea the frame of the object will stick, but theres movement within that frame which makes the figure im actually trying to capture move out of place
You track it as a stabilization so it's pinned in place and use the resulting pre-composition. And obviously you may need to stabilize all parts involved and then re-introduce the inverse of the stabilization data to un-stabilize it again and keep it looking natural. The rest is a matter of using masks, distortion effects and so on and a lot of manual keyframing to line up seams and blend stuff together. Doing effects takes time and resources. There isn't a magic button for everything.
