Tetering support has not been added by Adobe for this recently issued model. This normally takes several months to be finalised.
Having no luck with Canon 5D Mark IV tethered shooting in Lightroom CC 2015.8.
The support page lists the camera as being supported for tethering. Lightroom sees the camera, it comes up as Canon 5D Mark IV, the camera is on and USB cable is connected, click the LR shutter button, nothing happens. If I unplug the camera from the USB, Lightroom sees the camera go away and says no camera found. If I plug the USB back it, Lightroom finds it the camera again. I just can not get it to take a photo. I just can not make it take a photo.
Tethered shooting works fine in Canon EOS Utility 3. I am not running both at the same time.
I followed all Adobe's support page instructions for troubleshooting. Removed preferences file, restarted lightroom cc.
Behaves the same.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there something specific in LR that I have to do.
Thanks, any help will be appreciated.
