Search for ^- (the ^ is the marker for beginning of paragraph) and in the change format section select the paragraph style you've defined with the correct formatting.
This will reformat any paragraph that starts with a hyphen.
Thanks for the tip - but when I apply this to my text it doesn't change what I want.

When I search for ^- I can't make the sentence bold. What should I find / replace to change it that way.
Is it really a hyphen that is the start of the paragraph? If it's an en-dash, for example, you would need to search for ^~=
Here is a screen shot of some text in paragraphs starting with a hyphen that I changed to Magenta color by applying Paragraph Style 1 (which changes the color, but you will want to define a style that uses bold, instead) in the Change Format section of the Find/Change dialog:
When I do it with a Paragraph Style it works. Then the changement is for the all sentence (or paragraph). Without Paragraph Style it only changes the en-dash - Thanks Peter that will help me a lot on some repetitieve tasks.
