Image Sequence Footage comes in at wrong dimensions

I do a lot of time-lapse work, importing TIFF image sequence into After Effects.

Today, I imported a TIFF image sequence. All the images are 4608x3072.

I can confirm this in Adobe Bridge, or by getting command I get info to show the file specs, AND when I import a single on of these images to After Effects, it comes in at 4608x3072.

HOWEVER...when I import the images as an image sequence it comes in at 3072x4608 !!!  That's right, the vertical and horizontal dimensions are transposed, and the images are distorted, stretched tall. How strange.

I quit, relaunched and re-attempted - still happens.

I attempted an image sequence of only two of they images instead of entire folder. Same result.

If I import a single one of the images, (not an image sequence) the dimensions in After Effects are correct.

If I import image sequence, the dimensions are transposed and image is distorted.
