I have done a GREP style "~yJ\z" and this is defined using a character style called "C-style2". But when I use this in the end of a story and type Shift+Tab+j then it will give med the right type (a black dot). But in the character style list it will market as using style "none". Can anybody tell me how I can handle it, so it will be market as using "C-style2". I need this so the exported text can identify this character.
GREP Styles are part of the paragraph style definition, not character styles that would be retained if you change the paragraph style. To get a "real" character style you would need to use Find/Change.
the used character style for the GREP Style can be seen in the Character Styles Panel:
( From my German InDesign )
If for any reason two or more GREP Styles with different character styles access the same selected character(s) you will not see every used one listed. Instead you get: "(mixed)".
