It seems like sometimes when I create a new brush it keeps the last slider settings that I had set but other times the sliders get reset. I can't figure out what I'm doing differently that makes it recall or forget the last settings I had set which is annoying when I want one or the other.
I know I can create presets but often I just want a one off recall of the last sliders I was using as a starting point when I'm adding a large number of brushes.
There is an A and B brush. Maybe you are toggling from A to B and it won't keep the setting from a because it is a different brush.
I wish It would always reset to zeros across the board. But sadly on my system it doesn't.
From my notes on Lightroom-
How do you start with an adjustment brush that does not have anything set for it?
Open the Brush by pressing [K], Double-click on the word [Effect], (Do not brush anything), Close the brush by pressing [K]. Now the brush will be reset to zero.
Strangely there are now two situations-
a) if you open the brush and paint an area (without changing sliders ) THEN change the sliders, exit the brush, the sliders will be zero when next used.
b) if you set the sliders first, then brush on the image, exit the brush, the sliders will remain at this last used setting when next used.
I think many would just double-click [effect] each time the brush is activated.
