What exact version number of Premiere?
What exact version number of After Effects?
Have you checked your firewall settings?
Premier Pro 2015.3 10.3.0(202)Build
After Effects 2015.0 220.127.116.117 version
About firewall setting, what should i check exactly?
You are running an out of date version of After Effects release 2015, so you should seriously consider updating it. That won't help your current problem, but 13.5.0.x was the buggiest version of AE I can remember. If you're running the CC 2015 release of AE, you should be on 13.7.1.
To solve your problem, you should install the newest version of AE which is the CC 2015.3 release. The latest version of that is 13.8.1.
still the same on the latest version of after effects
Update Premiere Pro too.
THANKS MAN! U R GENIUS ,IT WORKED! I UPDATED AE & PR TO LATEST VERSION THEN, THATS IT! THANKS AGAIN YOU SAVED MY ***!
THANKS MAN! U R GENIUS
I have the same version for all my apps CC 2017. When i attempt to import from AE to ME i get the error 'Connecting to Dynamic link server failed'. My firewall is off on my Mac. I can see the process dynamiclinkmanager in the memory and CPU in the activity monitor.
Appreciate your input.
Does rendering from AE's render queue work? Like, can you make a production codec render?
Can you then take that file into AME to make your deliverable?
If that works, at least you have a workaround.
You could try trashing preferences. You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling.
