So I am trying to do a scribble behind an interview. The problem I have is that you draw on one frame then go to the next and you are unable to see where your writing was in the previous frame. This means the drawing is always guess work and it jumps around.
I would like to know if it is possible to
A) paint on two layers
B) have one of the layers one frame behind and transparent so you can trace the previous paint strokes
Hope the picture helps and I explained it okay. If anyone knows how to do this or an alternative method that would be much appreciated.
No, AE doesn't support Onion-Skinning. Lucky for you, Photoshop does, so use the video timeline there to paint frame by frame. Otherwise use other techniques to draw your elements or buy the Stick & Paint plug-in for more elaborate work.
