Could you please check and let me know if the photos that you have captured from iphone are live photos or not?
What do you mean by "live photos"?
These are kind of moving images shot by iphone.
I don't know how to tell whether they are. However, when I have one photo open on the phone's screen and then "swipe" it to the next photo, as the next photo appears, I see a little bit of movement in the new photo as it settles into place. Does that make sense.

Yes, that's exactly what Tanuj is talking about. Live photos are actually movie clips, not photos.
If you want photos, you can create them in Lightroom by capturing a frame, or you can create them in iOS within the photos app by:
1. Tap the "Share" icon in the bottom left corner
2. Choose "Duplicate"
3. Choose "Duplicate as Still Photo."
Or, if you don't really want live photos, you can turn them off in the iOS camera app by tapping the yellow bullseye icon at the top center of the camera window (you'll see the status "Live Off" and the icon changes to white).
I hope this helps!
Thanks very much. I’ll give this a try. This is very helpful.
Thanks again! This worked perfectly and I was able to import about 400 more images as still photos that had been live photos. They came from hikes and bike rides my wife and I made in Aspen, the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone during full fall leaf color. You made my day and week!
