Include dimensions in inches when renaming an image in LR CC

This is a image naming question for Lightroom CC. I've been working with a printing who commented that my image's filename shows the dimensions in pixels, but not in inches, which would be more helpful. Is there a way to do this using custom naming?

Lightroom doesn't calculate image size by inches. The only way you would be able to include inch dimensions in the filename would be for you to calculate for yourself and then rename each image, the file name including inch dimensions would be something that you would have to enter manually.

The image dimensions in inches is calculated from the image dimensions in pixels divided by the target Resolution required by the target printer. YOU must manually enter that data into the Export module when outputting the image for printing. To have this information appear in the filename use the Export module File Naming panel. Once all of the Export module settings have been entered you can use the 'Add' button (bottom-left corner) to create a User Preset for future use.....without having to manually reenter the settings. Create a User preset for each paper size you require.

Here's an example to create a 16x24 inch output file for a printer that requires a 300ppi Resolution file.
