This is more of a feature request, but since the Adobe Feature Request page is only for software products, I thought I would post on the forum to see if I would get a response. Here's my suggestion:
Example: If I search with the keywords: Woman Bed, but want to avoid the keywords: Sensual, Lingerie, Sexy, there's currently no way to do so. It is very time consuming to have to search through additional, unwanted images, for fear of losing potentially great images simply because they didn't use one or more of the specified keywords. Omitting specific keywords would easily remedy this.
Is there some way to do this that I'm not aware of? If not, I would greatly appreciate this feature being added.
In the keyword search, you could try putting a minus sign "-" in front of keywords you want to exclude eg woman bed -sensual -lingerie -sexy
Hope this helps.
Thank you Beverly! That works exactly as I had hoped.
After a few tests, it seems once you apply the negative sign to a word, each word you add after it, now becomes a negative keyword (anything before the negative sign, remains positive).
I'm sure knowledge of this (and other operators) would be helpful for others -- could this (and other operators) not be a tool tip of sorts or included in the FAQ?
