Moving LR6 to another computer

I have licenses for LR 5 & 6, no Creative Cloud accounts, and would like to move my current LR 6 to another computer, seems to be an impossible task.  Any advice with this process without a long involved session on Adobe....or do I have to start all over again?

You do not move Adobe software, you do a fresh install

You install programs exactly the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked

Thanks John appreciate the answer.  I see I will have to go to #1 since I don't have a disk for LR6, only the serial number, and download straight from Adobe and the LR downloads...Headed there now and again headed there now.

Question John, when I downloaded LR 6 it goes to my download file as a 'Lightroom__LS11'  file....(file, not an APP)......when I go to open it, it asks me what program I want to use to open it, can't get past that point.

When I go to the Lightroom link (the last one I posted) the download for LR6 is Lightroom_6_LS11.exe which is a self-extracting archive and installer

I don't know which version is installed, but look below the Mac updates and there are several Windows updates... you SHOULD only need to download and install the most recent one, at the top of the list
