A colleague of mine has created a new project based on Captivate's Responsive template. When he enters a Title in the Desktop view, the title does not display in the tablet or phone view. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and if so if you have found a solution.
Thank you.

Can you give some more details? Is this a Title using the Title placeholder of a theme? Which theme are you using, it should be responsive theme. Check the master slides to see if the theme is responsive (different settings for breakpoints), or check the object styles to see if they are responsive, have different settings for the breakpoints. Can you dhcek the Position Properties for the title?

Hi,
As Lieve said we need more details on what you exactly doing. I assume, your colleague is seeing this on Edit area. Below quoted might be one of the reason. He might have visited tablet breakpoint on Edit area and altered text for the Title in that view. Doing that will break the Responsive flow hierarchy(Desktop -> Tablet -> Mobile) from Desktop to tablet. Further any changes done from Desktop view will not flow to tablet or Tablet view object will not inherit that change since the link is broken.
Incase if you you want to re establish the broken link, Right click on the object and Choose"Apply text and Text Properties to all views" from context menu.
Thanks

Thank you for your responses.
My colleague tried creating a new projects and did not experience the problem in the new project. That said, we will hold onto your answers in case the problem reoccurs.
To answer your questions, yes it was a responsive theme, and yes the title was using the Title placeholder.
