I have a free copy of Robohelp and am trying to place one of our Captivate files into it. I did that. However, when I use WebHelp/Publish it's greyed out.
How do I publish then view the captivate file.
thank you.

Welcome to the forums.

How did you add the Captivate demo to the help topic? In the process, did you add it to your baggage folder? To check whether it's in baggage, expand "Baggage Files" in the Project Manager pod. Having files in baggage tells RH to include them in your output files when you generate.

Welcome to our community

I'm a bit confused here. When you say you "have a free copy of RoboHelp", what exactly does that mean? You won a copy at some event? Or do you mean that you are using the trial version?

What exactly is "greyed out"? Do you mean the Publish button?

The final dialog offers a View Output button. Have you tried using that?

Have you considered training?

Cheers... Rick

Yes, it's the trial version.
I'm just rummaging around in the software at the moment. Thanks for the info on books and classes. I really need those.
