    Sync to creative cloud fails

    devflite Level 1

I have not been able to backup media from Premiere Clip for iOS. Right now it appears that the app lacks any means to resume sync after switching to another app on the iPhone or iPad. obviously it is extremely unrealistic to leave the app up without interruption for backup of video files.

      1. Is there a workaround for backup/export to Premiere Pro in the meantime?

      2. Are there any plans to improve sync capabilities of the application? This is a must-have feature for Premier clip to be a viable solution for professional vlog use. Though the app feels a bit disconnected from the CC suite it has some definite potential!

          Hey Josh,

Clip does provide background uploading support but there are cases where the OS will kill the process to preserve memory. I know it's not ideal but the best practice is to leave the app in the foreground when possible.

If you get into a place where it seems Clip won't upload even when in the foreground try closing Clip (not just background it, but close it down).

There's definitely a number of things we can do to make the mobile version feel much more connected to the CC version. Can't give any details or times on things but we're exploring. Keep checking for updates and thanks for the feedback!
