Does anyone know if there are plans to introduce a virtual camera to Character Animator? Being able to move left or right through your scene would be very handy. For example, a closeup of two characters chatting when third chimes up from the side - the virtual camera can then be moved over to focus on the next character.
Yep, definitely something we want to do for the future. There are ways to do it now - basically you have one master controller puppet that you can switch between scenes in with key triggers (1 for wide, 2 for closeup, etc). But basically that means you have to recreate each scene separately - we agree, one dynamic camera in the future would be awesome.
