Clicking the Go to link button won't show it to you? It does look odd how it's indented in the list but that could be there's only one instance being used. I'd try saving it as an .idml file and re-opening in InDesign to see if that clears it up.
No, the 'go to' link won't show it, it's also not showing up as being on any particular page.
It doesn't affect the document in any way, I'd just like to know what causes it. I thought at first it may have been something that had been copied and pasted from from Photoshop but usually doing it that way doesn't give any link whatsoever!

I think that indent may be indicating the missing file is linked to the .ai file. If that's the case, saving that as PDF and linking to that instead should solve the problem, assuming Illustrator can find it.
it's only under the ai. file in the link, it's not related to the it in any way, but thanks for taking the time to answer.

Did you try the IDML route? If that fails t remove it, try moving the pages to a new file.
