I would like to add to this topic as I'm also having a problem with HTML drop downs. In my case I have a YUI calendar component, on which I have added two drop-down lists for month and year. It is designed so the calendar component pops up in a floating div on the page. However, in Adobe AIR the drop down lists display outside the Adobe AIR window. I have uploaded a screenshot of this problem here:

This problem does not occur in any other browser I have tested, including Chrome, Safari 4, IE and Firefox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Jason - that looks like exactly the same problem that I am having.
I suggest you also log on the go/wish site.
I've reported it to Adobe, and they have confirmed that there is a problem. Right now it seems that it can be caused by either having a fixed height div element before the select control, or by wrapping the select control in a div with relative positioning. If the cause of your problem is a div with a height greater than zero, it may be possible for you to workaround the problem by setting the height to zero.
The person dealing with the bug report said that he'd try to get a fix scheduled in the next release.
Does anyone have the link to that bug report so I can check it out?
