    DeviceReady no longer firing

    melb101

      Hi all,

I have made absolutely no changes to my App and have locked in the CLI version number as well as all of the plugins, and yet my deviceready event seems to have stopped firing. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or have any advice on how to start to troubleshoot this... Having not changed anything I am not sure what could be going wrong. The issue is occurring on iOS.

      My App ID is 1059690.

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Ed.

So, may I assume that you didn't rebuild, either?

and yet my deviceready event seems to have stopped firing

All of a sudden? In all devices, for all users?

I wonder...how do you make sure that indeed that event doesn't fire?

Is your zip file available online somewhere, so forum participants could have a look?

            Hi VectorP,

I could confirm that the deviceready event doesn't fire by placing an alert in the onDeviceReady() function.

Well I did actually rebuild it which is what has caused the issue in the first place. However., i have managed to track down what was causing the issue. It turns out that for whatever reason the OneSignal plugin is now causing an issue. Downgrading it to 1.13.2 seems to have done the job. As to why it all of a sudden started doing this, I can't say.

Nevertheless it seems to be working again now.

            Thanks for your help!
