Hello,

I just bought a new Mac with no DVD reader. I tried to download the CS5 Design Standard  from the link provided (https://helpx.adobe.com/fr/creative-suite/kb/cs5-product-downloads.html ). However, after the "DesignStandard_CS5_LS1.dmg" file has been downloaded and that I click on "Install", this following message appears:

“Install” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.

Can I get help please?

You likely have Mac OSX 10.12 Sierra installed and it has problems with older Adobe products.

You will have to use Terminal.app to start the install.

So start up Terminal.

Right or Control-click on the Install.app and select "Show package Contents.

Inside the MacOS folder is Install. Drag it into the Terminal Window and you will see it as a text command.

Press Enter to start the Install. Enter your password if asked.

Step 3 Hit enter.png
