    Graphics card upgrade

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.htmlHi, I'm thinking about upgrading the default (NVIDIA GeForce GT 120) graphics card in my early 2009 Mac Pro so that Lightroom (CC) can speed up the task of adjusting images in the Develop module. Because its such an old Mac I'm thinking of getting hold of a nVidia
      GTX 680 2Gb
. As this card isn't mentioned in the GPU and Troubleshooting page I'm wondering if anyone knows whether or not it will work?

If it's not mentioned, then it won't speed up Lightroom.

Do you have a 4K or 5K monitor? What exactly (in pixels, not inches) is the size of your monitor?

If you don't have a 4K or 5K monitor, then you will not see any speed improvement from a better graphics card, even the ones listed, and you will have wasted your money.

If speed improvement is the goal, perhaps you could describe in detail what actions in Lightroom are slow.
