I have been through the previous forum discussions that relate to this problem and have not been able to resolve this issue. Am an unable to remove the plug in and reinstall it (the remove option is greyed out). I am unable to add a new folder and I cannot find the folder highlighted with cache to empty it. Is anyone able to assist please?
I should have also mentioned that I upgraded to macOS Sierra and now realise that the Canon Pixma Pro-1 printer does not have a driver and it is not recommended to upgrade at this point in time. Unfortunately a long phone call to Abode has not been successful and they couldn't help. A phone to Canon has established that there is no time scale for a new driver and a support call to Apple has identified that the OS can be rolled back however it's a complete rebuild that I'm really not comfortable with. Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
