Apologies if this has been answered several times over, but I would like to know if I need to contact the person who has submitted their photo to Adobe Stock, before using it in a publication. In other words, do I need to gain any other permission, other than crediting them?
I would like to use a photo for a magazine I edit, it is a UK magazine that goes to circa 9000 people (both hard copy and online).
Am I correct in thinking that only a standard license is required (not extended license) and simply crediting the image as directed below:
"© [Photographer's name] / Adobe Stock”
Thanks very much!
No, you wouldn't need to contact the contributor for permission.
Please check the license terms for additional information - http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/legal/servicetou/Adobe_Stock_Terms-en_US_20160616 .pdf
Thank you Berverley!
