    Color Change in Write-On Effect

    calvariaa

      Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to animate a color change on an object drawn using the Write-On effect? The shape is drawn in blue, but once the shape is completed I need it to turn grey.

      Thanks!

You have color value in the write on effect that can be keyframed. Set it to blue and at the end of the completion create a keyframe. Advance in time how you like and set it to grey and this will create another keyframe. If you don't want interpolation between the keyframes then set both keyframes to a hold keyframe (ctrl/cmd+alt/option and clicking on the keyframes). if it's not what you need, please provide more information on what exactly do you want to accomplish.
