I love the new feature that turns a table cell into a graphic cell, but I have found an issue that I would like to report.
When grouping multiple objects together and placing in a graphic cell, copying the table crashes InDesign. I've tried it several times with the same results. Crash. If I remove the group from the table cell and just place it on top, I can duplicate the table with no problem. But then the group has to locked in so that when changes are made to the table the group of images stays where it should. I suppose a workaround would be to create separate cell for each, but that would complicate the table and flexibility would be diminished.
I already did a bug report on crashes like that if a group of objects is pasted inside a graphic cell and the table will be duplicated.
The culprit in my tests: One or several text frames as part of the group.
Are any text frames inside of your graphic cell?
Duplicating the page with the table will also crash InDesign.
Moving the page with the table to a different document will crash it as well.
Want to let you know, that the bug I mentioned in my post above is not fixed with the latest release of:
InDesign CC 2017 v184.108.40.206.
I just tested that.
So it would be best, if you do a report here:
Provide a good description what is happening.
And a link to a zip file where you store a sample document with all the placed images and the crash report.
