Hi,
is there anybody that can help me to reduce the size of 40 pages of catalogue?
I made it with this dimensions: 297x345 mm and I need to reduce it in a pdf to print in high resolution with the dimensions reduced at 86%.
How can I do it?
Indesign doesn't permit me to reduce in scale,
I can't make a postscript with the proportional reduction....
I'm disperate!
Maybe in Acrobat? I gave a look at this, but I can't do that....
Pls help me
Thank you

Can you load it in Photoshop and resize it by going to:
Image >> Resize
Then you can choose either Image size or Canvas size

Photoshop is not the way to go on this.
Make a new 40-page InDesign document of the correct size, and then place the old InDesign document into the new one.
If you put image boxes on your Master page with appropriate fitting options set, the pages should resize automatically as you place them.

Photoshop is not the right one for a catalogue of 40 pages. Besides I have to consider in addition 3 mm per side, the page right and left must collect in the right way to print it in imposition method.
I think that in the last version of Indesign I had the possibility to make a postscript with different proportion,.. that's strange that a so popular and expensive package like Creative Suite doesn't give the possibility to save in just one click the layout in different size!!!!!
Thank you.
Bye bye

I would just leave the InDesign file and PDF as they are and set the output scaling to 86% in the Print dialog.
If that's not a viable option for whatever reason, make a new 40-page InDesign document at the reduced page size, Place the PDF (or .indd), and fit each placed page to the reduced size.
