So I have macmini with e-gpu. When I go to Ae->preferences->preview->GPU information I can see my e-gpu as CUDA card, but for OpenGL Ae always detects weak built-in Intel HD 4000. No way to change it manually. I assume Ae also uses hd4000 to draw interface while working on a project. My monitor is connected to e-gpu's hdmi.
Is there a way to either select different card for OpenGL purposes inside Ae (not sure why Ae picks up the weakest one) or maybe somehow hide it from the system so Ae won't even know it's there?
Thanks for advance for all the help!
What version of AE are you using? Can we please see a screenshot of your settings window where you're seeing the problem? What OS are you running (down to the last version number)?
Updating to latest AE CC 2017 solved the problem, now it detects my GTX980 for both opengl and cuda fields.
