Can you please provide more details surrounding your issue?
- Are there any error messages or dialog that pop up?
- Is there freezing or beach balling?
- Can you share your System Info? (Help > System Info > Copy) Please paste that here.
- Can you provide the forum links you have already consulted?

I'm having the same problem. I tried to launch from the task bar - nothing happened. No splash screen, no error messages. I then went to the folder holding the application and tried to launch from there. Still nothing. I've tried restarting. No difference.
I reinstalled Lr and the issue resolved for the time being, I then lost PS but the online chat support fixed it for me. Painful process when you are in hurry and only needing 1 photo, many lost hours.
Hi Marianne, I gave up on the instructions and just reinstalled Lr and my issues resolved. Hopefully you are up and running again. Ruth
Thanks for your reply ruth1eh. I eventually got mine to restart but my catalog collapsed in the process. Sigh!
You should be able to go to your last backup to recover the catalogue. The FB page is great for prompt help for file issues. Loads of knowledge on that page. Good luck going forward. Ruth
