Photoshop not opening images from Lightroom following an update

I installed a Photoshop CC update.  I went into Lightroom and tried to open an image via Edit in Photoshop but it didn't open, it just created a TIFF image in Lightroom.  It worked on Friday so I can only think that it was something in the update that has impacted it.

Any suggestions?

Is there a way to reverse the update?
