Rosetta shouldn't be required for 11.5 as D11 was the first iteration of the authoring environment to support OSX without emulation
Thank you Sean. I know Director 11.5 can run without the emulator, but I have some ancient memory, which may be false, that tells me that the installer needs Rosetta. I may be confusing this with another software program like Microsoft Office 2007 for Mac.
Thank you, I will now go ahead, do a clean install of Mavericks with full confidence that Director 11.5 will install and that I will be able to activate the program and update with the various hot fixes.
You were right in the past when you predicted that nobody would write a book on Director 12. If ever a book (with digital updates) was ever needed it was for Director 12 and the iOS feature.
Many thanks, I appreciate that this forum is still active.
Sorry the reference should have been to Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac and not 2007.
