Acrobat DC stops working when trying to reduce file size

I am using Acrobat Pro DC Version 2015.006.30244 on a Windows PC running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1. Any time I try to reduce file size, Acrobat stops working. This happens even on relatively small files, i.e., 5-10MB, that I'm trying to get down to a size that can be emailed more easily. How can I resolve this? Thanks.

Hi Resab62273809,

It is possible the file is corrupted and you may have to recreate it and please check if its happening with other files too.

Also, please share a screenshot of any particular error that shows up.

FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

Please mention the workflow you follow as well to help me understand the issue better,

Thanks,
Supriya
