Indesign 2015.4 CC on Mac OS Sierra 10.12
After the most recent update I'm noticing an annoying layers panel glitch where if you tap a layer other than the layer you're currently working on, it pops up the layer options for the current layer instead of moving you to the selected layer. You have to collapse the layer options dialogue before reselecting the new layer.
I use layers extensively in my documents so this happens about 10 times/hour – which is driving me nuts. Anyone else experiencing this?
I've restored the preferences but it's still an issue, unfortunately.
That happens when you double click a layer. Click selects a layer, double click opens Layer Options. Could there be a mouse issue? You are single-clicking but it is registering as a double click? I've never seen that behavior on any version of Design—which doesn't mean a whole lot—it could be a new bug with Sierra, or it could be your mouse settings. We can't control Sierra, so start with your mouse preferences.
