    special chars in XML

    ilux
My flex application makes use of a HTTPService to call a Php document which prints a XML. The result format is "e4x". However, the XML doc that I read has special characters like "<", ">". So the XML parsing breaks and it gives me a error message. Is there a way to handle special chars in XML doc?

      Thanks
