Thanks for this, but the link appears to show the regular way of moving a project into Premiere.
I as wondering if there is a way to JUST create an XML from clip and open it in Premiere - then manually transfer all my original clips over from my device via a wired connection and relink in Premiere. There may be times where uploading a lot of source clips over wifi is not possible or feasible - not to mention using up the meagre 20GB CC storage.
The only way way I can see that this might be a problem is if Clip is creating new media with new names and metadata so it can't be linked back to camera originals.
Ok, sorry I missed what you were trying to achieve. There is not a way to send just the xml file without the media. I tried to see if I can cheat it somehow but I wasn't able to.
The only metadata that is modified when sending to Premiere that I'm aware of, is the filename.
