I've noticed that Muse is creating .png versions of .svg graphics in my site. Usually this doesn't seem to be an issue as when viewed in a browser (Chrome on Windows) the .svg graphics seem to be the format used as I can zoom in with no loss of quality.
Unfortunately this isn't the case for the 'Submit' button of the email form (standard Muse widget with a font change).
As a result you get pixelated button graphics and a lot of .png files created for the rollover states (see attached images).
Is there anything I can do about this? Is this for compatibility reasons?
1. Muse creates PNGs alongside to SVGs as a fallback image for browsers, which don’t support SVG. In this case, the PNG is displayed.
2. In former versions of Muse the "Send" button was rasterized for compatibility reasons, so that forms can be used with all supported browsers. The new version of Muse (2017) however preserves and displays the vector data of the "Send" button.
Thanks for the reply. Good to know I was thinking along the right lines. Good to know that Muse 2017 displays the Send button as a vector. Unfortunately, I've had nothing but problems moving this site, created in 15.2, across to 2017 - objects aren't reflowing correctly despite working just fine in 15.2
Appreciate the answer!
