I have recently been trying to use the match font feature in Photoshop CC, I have been following some tutorials on the feature but I am having a problem. On the background layer with the text I wish to match a font to I have made a new text layer with the word I wish to match. I select my bounding box as normal and select match font feature. If i scroll up and down over the installed matched text options I can see my text layer reflecting the font highlighted, however if I scroll over the Fonts available from Typekit the text layer does not change to reflect the typekit font. From the tutorials I have seen the typkit fonts are reflected when scrolled. Any advice would be helpful.
I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. I'm not sure I understand which part of the Match Font feature you're having issues with. I just tested this in Photoshop and everything seems to be working as expected.
I found this tutorial as well: Match fonts from an image
Are you able to follow along with that tutorial?
Let me know and we'll take it from there.
