    Media Encoder CC 2017

    bkohls11 Level 1

The new encoder for someone reason is having my source video start out at 427X240. I am using vector images in a 1280X720 comp. Even if I change the outcome it is really blurry. Anyway I can fix this? Thanks.

Set your composition to full resolution in AE before you send it to AME.

Or send it to AE's render queue and use the Queue in AME button there, that might work too.

Long story short, there's a bug in the CC 2017 release of AE that causes AME to pick up the comp's current resolution as seen in the preview panel rather than the full resolution of the comp. There is a bug fix update coming soon according to Adobe EDIT: and I'm not sure if this one is fixed in that one or not, but it might be! In any case, it's an easy workaround.

I edited my first post to clarify that there is a bug fix update coming, but I'm not sure what fixes are in it.
