LR will not import my photos

I had LR 5 and it worked well until it stopped importing my photos. I am on a PC with Windows 10. I reinstalled LR and then upgraded to LR 6. Same problem. The import screen does not show the photos that are on my drive or on the camera. It shows nothing to import, when there are many images there.

What does it show? Grey, empty boxes or ...?

Please post a screenshot of the import dialog.

What is the type of camera and the image format (jpg or raw)?

Thanks for your input. I have solved the problem by clicking the

'Destination' tab on the right-hand side of the import photos screen. The

missing photos miraculously appeared.

Happy it works now

Make sure to use the latest LR6 which currently is 6.7.
