    Phonegap CLI build Windows - won't use icon.png (solved)

      Hi

      I am using Phonegap cli 6.3.4 to build an app for Windows Phone 8.1 and Android, but it won't use my icon for Windows (Android is fine) but uses the default PhoneGap one.

      I have specified my own icon in the config.xml - I built a bare bones project below to test this:

      <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

      <widget id="com.phonegap.TCOne" version="1.1.0" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets" xmlns:gap="http://phonegap.com/ns/1.0">

          <name>TC-One</name>

          <description>

              A blank PhoneGap app.

          </description>

          <content src="index.html" />

          <access origin="*" />

          <engine name="windows" spec="~4.3.2" />

          <engine name="android" spec="~5.1.1" />

        <icon src="res/icon.png"/>

      </widget>

      The icon.png is in

      TC-One/res

      (ie not in the www folder, though I have tried both).

      After the Windows build (phonegap build windows) I looked in TC-One\platforms\windows\images and they were all default PhoneGap icons)

      Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

      Thanks

      icon.png default doesn't work - need to specify for Windows platform - see
