I am developing a couple of mobile iOS sticker apps and I am wondering if I can use Typekit Fonts like Fire Sans oder Source Code Pro (both come with my free plan) in PNG or JPEG graphics I create in Photoshop CC. So in other words not the font is provided in the app, just a couple of PNG stickers or in another app I develop PNG menu buttons.
Is that allowed?
What about other fonts like Arial?
Thanks for your help!
Yes, you may use fonts you have synced from Typekit to create to create images, which you can then use for any purpose. This includes generating a PDF, EPS file, or bitmapped file such as a JPEG or PNG.
Here's a reference from our licensing help page:
> What about other fonts like Arial?
For fonts that are installed on your computer (as opposed to synced from Typekit), it will depend on what the end user license agreement (EULA) for the font allows. If you don't have a copy of your EULA, you can request one from the foundry the owns the fonts.
I hope that this helps; let me know if you have any other questions.
