I create my SVG files in Adobe Illustrator and then use them in my Edge Animate projects. Which works fine... except in Internet Explorer I found out. Sometimes SVG files get streched in Internet Explorer while they appear normal in Chrome, Safari, Firefox. Here's an example.
I've used two SVG files. The top text in SVF is correct. The second has the same font size in my Illustrator file and shows just as big as the first in Chrome and other browsers. But in Internet Explorer it scales abnormally. What is causing this effect on some SVG files in Internet Explorer and how can I fix it?
Here's the svg code of that 2nd text which is a SVG file that gets stretch weirdly in IE: http://pasted.co/ce56d68d
Here's that svg file I've used for that text which now shows about twice as high and 1.5 times as wide as the top text.
Normally I would fix this by using 'Export As' in Illustrator CC instead of 'Save As SVG'. That seems to fix it, but at home I'm not that updated and so aren't most of my colleagues. So it would be great if at least I could do a slight text edit on that svg I've got to make it work for IE too?
