I have followed every tutorial out there and my .oam just will not insert. I am inserting in my div between the >< and nothing. I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CC (2015), I save, and view in browser (google chrome) and simply nothing. UGH. I have just started with a new site and new index.html so, there is not much happening in regards to code.

Could you share your code (or better yet, a link to your work in progress)?

Have you tried uploading to a test location on your server to see if it's a local browser security setting causing the problem?

First of all thank you very much for your quick reply. Sure, here's the code. let me know if you need more files to include the published Adobe Edge Animate files? I do not see away to attach files to this thread.

Kindest regards

Jim

Jon, thank you for your help, That is what I do not understand??? I have tried a couple different approaches and watched a bunch of YT videos and followed them precisely. I put my cursor in between >< and select "Edge Animate" from the insert panel and nothing happens. I tried inserting it up in the styles area but that didn't work either? I see the EA files get added to my file panel ??? Very strange

respectfully

Jim

It's possible there's something that has gone corrupt in your program.

Personally I would try clearing the program cache or the personal config folder first:Deleting a corrupted cache file

If that doesn't help, I'd restore preferences: Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

This may all be a wild goose chase though, and something in your workflow is the cause. Can you take us through exactly what you're doing (both in Animate and DW)?

Something there may be wonky and causing the failure.
