Custom Metadata display on multiple computers

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to save a custom metadata display preset and load it on other computers for other editors working on the same project.  For example, if I have created several new schemas and I only want to see those schemas in the metadata panel on every computer.  I tried sending a template file to another computer, but not only did the display preset not show up, but the new schemas didn't show up either.  At the very least, I need the new Schemas to show up on the other computers.  Any idea how to do this?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for digging into prelude workflows.

Please consider the following points :

1. You can simply uncheck the schema in Metadata display window that you don't want to see in Metadata panel.

This goes for both already provided schema and user created ones.

2. The schema you create are saved on the following location.

AppData\Roaming\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\4.0\custom

These schema files you inside it contains the info of added properties as well.

You just need to copy these file

I have actually been able to get the schema and custom display to show up by copying the files from the Adobe/Prelude folder, but for some reason the properties I added to the new schemas are not showing up.

You just need to copy these files to other computers at the same location(manually create 4.0 folder if not existed already or add one schema to create this complete path automatically).

I hope it helps.

Please mention your prelude version (from Help--> About Adobe Prelude) and the OS version you are working on if you still face any problem.

Thanks,

Mayjain
