1. make sure you are using the most updated version: 14.0.1
if that's not working
2. purge all memory: edit->purge->all
id that's not working
3. restart your application
I followed and did all of the above. Still not working. I was using the
2015 version and I updated to the 2017. I am still having problem preview

this could be related to a firewall or antivirus blocking the dynamic link. if you have any then try to disable them.
try this on Mac:
Navigate to the folder “/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/” and click “File > Get Info.” Make sure the Lock icon is not activated, and enter your administrator name and password if necessary. Scroll down to “Sharing & Permissions” and grant your current account Read & Write Privileges. Below this, click the small Settings icon and select “Apply to enclosed items.” Re-lock the folder.
from here on out I would suggest you contact support because the next steps require more aggressive approach and you should be directed step by step with a support agent so contact one if necessary: Contact Customer Care and please update on the results.
