Check that the text has a language applied to it (e.g. English US). Text without a language won't hyphenate.
If you fix the typos in "formsdfula", does the problem disappear at this particular point?
InDesign breaks at a random point because you do not allow it to break anywhere naturally. There are 32 consecutive characters without regular spaces, and without a word that can be hyphenated. (Contrary to what you seem to be asking, there are no valid breaking points inside the word "height".) The only other option would be to move this entire 32 characters to the next line, which would violate your current justifications settings.
A generalized solution is to not form such long unbreakable strings with narrow columns.
