I have some footage of a person holding a cell phone. The screen of the phone is completely white, over exposed. Any suggestion on how to edit the footage so I can see what is on the phone's screen.
No way. What's not there is not there. It'S just a bunch of bright pixels and there is no hidden information that could be recovered. Sorry, you're out of luck. You have to reshoot or replace the screen with tracking.
Do you mean if there is a way to recover those clipped pixels? If they are indeed clipped, the data is not there. you could Composite a screen on top of the overblown white but we really need to see the footage to give any educated advice.
