MusexPress with HTTPS site

Has anyone used MusexPress on a HTTPS site yet? I'm having issues with 'files missing on server' when viewing the HTTPS version. The HTTP version is fine. According to the dev console its down to stylesheets still being HTTP and not HTTPS - does anyone know how I change that?

Oh. I am sorry. I am not. But would not think https would be an issue at all. It seems that this might be an issue to direct to MuseXpress.

I have three Muse sites with https SSL. I have not had any problems with "files missing on server."

One server side SSL (nothing to do with Muse) issue I did run into was that any link in my document could not have an http designation or users would get a message that the site might not be secure.

Are you using MusexPress on them?

No worries, thank you anyway. I thought I'd give the forum a quick go before contacting them. There's a specific widget on the page that calls a Google font via http which I can't change. Removing it solves the issue so I guess I need to contact them.

I was not using a widget that called for a specific google font so I just changed the font to something that was not conflicting.

It doesn't sound like you have that option.

I just had the same issue with MuseXpress, but I was able to fix it. Muse will call all of your CSS files as 'http://example....." by default. All I did was in the Muse FTP dialogue, change the Site URL to 'https' and it upload all files. It edits them accordingly and then CSS will load correctly.

Make sure you have 'https' in all of your WP domain settings as well.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks, I'll give that a try. I've since spoken to MuseGain and they have told me that they are aware of the security messages and are working on it. Despite trying https in FTP the problem still remains with Google fonts in the Javascript Console, which I understand is a MusexPress issue.

The 'files missing on server' error is cleared by clearing all cache from Chrome, then (most times) it goes away. Only to reappear from time to time after I've uploaded a change.

I'll check my WP domain settings as well, thanks for the heads-up.
