    Focus a movie clip when clicked.

      I have a 2 movie clips on the stage. They are named logo1 and logo 2. I have them set out cascading. So the only clip that is fully visible is the front clip but the top of the other clip can be seen. When a user clicks on the back clip i want it to become the focus and appear in front of the clip that is currently at the front.

      I have been trying to use setFocus and readin about focus manager. But nothing will work yet.

      Can someone help me out?

      Thanks.

          I think you are looking for swapDepths, not anything about setFocus
          (which describes clicking on form fields). The MovieClip.swapDepths
          method will change the stacking order of clips on stage.

          Check out the help files... here's the example they give, which probably
          applies directly to your issue:

          myMC1_mc.onRelease = function() {
          this.swapDepths(myMC2_mc);
          };
          myMC2_mc.onRelease = function() {
          this.swapDepths(myMC1_mc);
          };
